Tips from Jeannie Mai of how do I look?
Garlic
One of my absolute favourite cooking ingredients, I use it in virtually every dish I prepare. Did you know about its anti bacterial properties? Crush and apply juice to pimples for a natural spot buster.

Basil
Thai Basil, Italian Basil… whichever it is, it seems to add pizzazz to any simple salad or a plate of fresh tomatoes. It even adds a touch of heaven when put on top of a clear soup. For beauty, infuse 2 to 3 tablespoons of dried basil in a cup of boiling water and cool for 20 minutes, then apply as toner to soothe blemishes.

Honey
I have used this with pork ribs, salmon dishes and as part of a salad dressing. Honey has got anti bacterial and anti inflammatory properties. Dab onto blemishes or over skin, leave 15 minutes and rinse off.
